What My Guides Are Asking of Me This Year

For many years I found myself feeling captivated by the energy of the New Year.

Resolutions, a Word of the Year, Vision Boards, Core Desired Feelings…you name it, I probably tried it.

But this year, none of those things fit.

This year, I realized it was less about me putting a label on what I wanted 2024 to be and melting into something deeper.

This year, I am being asked to talk less and listen more.

This year, instead of me laying claim to a word or resolution, my Spirit Guides are asking something of me…

Refine.

Refine your energy.

Refine your standards.

Refine your beliefs.

Refine your desires.

Refine.

Sometimes, we are able to get away with holding a broad frequency of what we want, what we are calling in, and what we stand for.

There might be too little specificity, too much grasping, and a little more ego involvement than is good for us.

But we can still call in. We can still manifest. We can still see results.

The Universe will let us have what we want while existing at a standard that is…good enough.

And other times that just won’t cut it.

For me, expansion has been a process of continual refinement.

It’s been a shedding of every.single.person.place.and.thing that no longer matches this next phase in my life.

It’s been a demand, not a request, that I act from a place of brutal honesty…with myself and those around me.

Only a refined frequency will be accepted.

Purity is the standard.

Deep truth is the requirement.

Living a Sacred Feminine life means surrendering to the fact that sometimes it’s actually best when you’re not in control, when things don’t go the way you planned or in the timeframe you had in mind.

It feels like death and chaos to the ego, but freedom to the soul.

Refinement is the path She calls us to.
